Ariadna Martinez – The arrival of Netflix in Australia was expected to be on March but no one knew whether it would be the very end or the very start of the month. Today, Netflix has stated it will be available on the 24th. Furthermore, Netflix has made a list of the devices it’ll be compatible. This list is formed by all smart televisions manufactured by Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, Philips and HiSense, it also includes game consoles as PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Wii as well as Apple TV, Google Chromecast and Apple or Android tablets and smartphones.
There’s been a lot of speculation about Netflix’s prices and they have declined to offer further detail that buyers of Xbox One would get three months of free service. The interesting thing will be to compare US pricing if it’s cheaper or if it has wider offerings. Netflix will also sell “gift cards” in $20, $30 and $50.
